Some of the most important design pieces a company uses are its everyday business materials like their business cards, envelopes and letterhead. This may also include mailing labels, forms, electronic document templates, in fact, all the touch points where people interact with your company materials are part of your identity. They are constantly in use, establishing and reinforcing a company's identity. Consistency is important here. Although some companies may only need stationery, others will need extensive style guides or "Standards Manuals" to ensure their identity does not become diluted.
